Period 7: How many...?
I. PREPARATION
A. Aims: How many.....?
B. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use " How many...?" to do some kinds of exercise .

- Call some Ss do homework.

- Give some examples.
- Ask Ss to repeat usage.

a)Form:
- How many + N (in plural) + are there............?
( There is + a/ an + N (in singular).
There are + N (in plural).
Ex. How many classroom are there in your school ?
There are 14 classrooms in my school.
Ex: How many books are there?
There is a/ one book.
- How many + N (in plural) + do / does + S + have ?
( S + have / has + (a/an) + N (s)
Ex. How many pens do you have ?
I have three pens.
b) Usage: Dùng để hỏi số lượng
* Practice:
I. Fill each gap in the pasage with one suitable word from the box:
have, many, grade, where
1. How.....chairs are there in your living room ?
2. Which ...... are you in ? - I`m in grade 7.
3. .....is your class room ? - It is on the first floor.
4. How many floors does your school.....? It has two floors.
II. Choose the correct word or phrase to complete sentences:
1. How many / What notebooks does he have ?
2. Where /Which class are you in ?
3. What / Where is your school ?
4. How/ How many rulers are there in your bag ?
