Period one: Introduce to students how to learn English 6
I.Aims:
-To help ss know the program of learning and the content of the English 6
-To help ss know the construction of each unit. From then ss will be able to know how to learn English suitably and effectly
II.objectives:
To help ss get general aims and specific aims of the E six and the importance of learning E in their mordern life.
III. Teaching aids:
- Teacher: teacher’s book, textbook, reference books
-Students: textbook
IV.Procedures:
1. The program of the English 6:(5’)
105 periods/ a school year
First term : 54 periods
Second term: 51 periods
2. The content of the E subject:( 10’)
The E 6 subject consists of 6 topics.
+ You and me + Health
+ Education +Recreation
+ Community + The world around us
3. The aims of the E subject:(15’)
- It is constructed according to the Ministry of Education and Training
- The role of E in a developing country.
- After finishing the E 6 ss will be able to get the knowledge of the textbook and improve 4 skills: Reading, speaking, listening, writing
-ss will be able to understand about the culture & custom of foreign countries in the world.
-ss will be able to use E in communicating
4. The construction of E 6:(13’)
- The E 6 consists of 16 units
- It is constructed according to 6 topics
- Each unit is developed according to the following steps
+ In troduce the new target item: Listen & repeat
Listen & read
+ Comprehesion checking: Ask & answer, Match, True- false, practice with a partner
+Practice: There are many kinds of different activities : L, R, W,S
+ Remember: The main points of the lesson
5. Homework: ( 2’)
-Prepare unit 1: A1-2-3-4

Period 2: Unit one: greetings
Lesson 1: A1-2-3-4
I. Aims & objectives:
-Helping ss to practise greeting & introducing themselves
- Vocabulary: To introduce to ss some vocabulary: Hi= Hello , a name , a classmate , oh, one, two, three, four, five
- Skill: + Target skill : speaking
+ Other skills : Reading, writing, listening
- Main teaching points: To introduce to ss how to greet & introduce themselves
- By the end of the lesson ss will be able to greet each other, introduce their name & count in E from1 to 5
II. Teaching aids:
- Teacher: word cues, teacher’s book, lesson plan
- SS : textbook, school things
III. Procedures:
1. Check up: ( 3’) Ask some ss to count from one to five in English
2. Lead in: (2’)
What do you often do when you meet each other at the first time ?
