Introduction
I The objectives :
The teacher introduces the subject to S so that they have a plan for
their learning.
II The content :
The importance of English , why we have to learn English.
The feature : the materials focus on the ability to communicate.
Requirement : every S has
+ 2 books : English 6 and Workbook 6
+ 2 notebooks :1 for lessons and 1 for exercises.
S have to prepare the lessons before having classes , do all the assignments and have a plan for learning by themselves.

- S can greet people and identify themselves .
- Developing speaking and listening skill .
II Language contents :

Grammar : to be ( present simple tense )

- Role play , pair work .
- Text books , pictures , cassette .
IV Procedures :

Processes
Presentation
T uses pictures to set the scene in an effort to elicit the target structures .
T says the greetings , S repeat .
T explains :hello & hi are used to greet friends or the younger people.
T lets S notice the main stress :hello ( 2nd syllable )
T asks some S to say the words & correct their mistakes .
S practice greeting each other in pairs .
T tells S how to identify themselves
S repeat .
S follow the model first then use their own names .
S copy the structures into the notebooks .
Practice
S practice greeting & identifying themselves in groups .
T asks some groups to perform & corrects their mistakes if they don’t pronounce correctly.
Consolidation
T asks some pairs of S to greet & identify themselves while the others write down what their classmates have said .
