LESSON 1: A. Parts of the body (A1, 2). P.96 – 97.
I. AIMS
- To help the ss know the parts of the body, using the structure “What is that?/ What are those?”
- To develop Ss’ skills.
II. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to use nouns to talk about parts of the body.
III. WAYS OF WORKING
T - WC, pair work, individual work.
IV. MATERIALS
Text book, picture on page 96, tape.

- a head: đầu
- a chest: ngực
- shoulders: vai
- an arm: cánhtay
- a hand: bàntay
- a leg: cẳngchân
- a foot - feet (pl): bànchân
- a finger - fingers (pl): ngóntay
+ thumb: ngóntaycái
+ index finger: ngóntaytrỏ
+ middle finger: ngóntaygiữa
+ ring finger: ngónápút/ đeonhẫn
+ little finger: ngóntayút
- a toe - toes (pl): ngónchân

- To develop Ss’ skills.
II. OBJECTIVES
- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to use some adjectives (tall, short, big, small, thin......) to describe physical appearance.
III. WAYS OF WORKING
- T - WC, team work, individual work.
IV. MATERIALS
- Text book, tape, picture on page 97.
V. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS- Listening may be difficult for some ss.
- The lesson may take time.
VI. PROCEDURE
