Past simple
The forms is the same for all people: I danced, you danced, she danced,.
1- We add -ed to most verbs

2- We add -d to verbs that end in -e.

3- If the verbs ands in a consonant and -y we change the -y to -ied.

4- If the verb ends in a short vowel and a consonant, we double the consonant and add -ed.
