Dear Hoa,
Thanks for your letter. I`m very glad that you and your family are fine. I`m fine , too. I like hearing about your school. I find it really interesting.
Now I`m writing to tell you about the place I live. It`s a beautiful village on a river. My house is small but beautiful with a small yard and a large garden. The view from my bedroom window is wonderful. We can see the large garden with a lot of flowers and vegetables and some fruit trees. In the far distance is a large paddy field and the river.
In my village, there is an old temple, a common house, a stadium, a swimming- pool and a market. The boys in my class really like the stadium and the swimming- pool because they often play soccer and swim there after school. For me, the old temple is the best place. It`s very quiet and the scenery is beautiful.
