Getting strated + Listen & Read
Aims:
- Helping students to know about the palaces in their neighborhood.

-Ask Ss to match the pictures with their suitable names

d. drugstore - e. hairdresser’s - f. swimming pool
-Ask for their meanings to make sure students know exactly what they mean.

at a short distance
- serve (v): phục vụ (explanation)
(give somebody food or drink)
- pancake (n): bánh nếp (translation)

- Ask students to listen and read silently the dialogue between Nam and Na then ask them if their answers are correct or not.
- Give feedback.

-Ask students to do the exercises 2 on page 64. They work individually then compare with their partners.

b. Do you like it? Why? (people are friendly/ the environment is good / safe...?)
c. Is there a restaurant / post office /market/ bank/ shop in your neighborhood?
d. How do you keep your neighborhood clean?
- Students write, teacher moves around the class and helps students.

- Complete your writing in your notebook

- Speaking about how to send a parcel or a letter and listening for specific information.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about how to send parcels or letters and know what Na is going to do on the weekend by listening.
