In 1909, an American businessman, William Boyce, got lost in London. A boy helped him and explained the he was a scout.
The meeting between a boy scout with W. Boyce led to the Scouts Association crossing the Atlantic in 1910.
In 1994, there were 5,400,000 scouts in America.
