Câu nói gián tiếp hay câu tường thuật là lời của người nói được thuật lại một cách gián tiếp với một người khác.
Vd: Câu trực tiếp: Minh said, " I`m fine".
Câu gián tiếp: Minh said (that) he was fine.
(*)Từ ví dụ trên ta thấy từ câu trực tiếp sang câu gián tiếp có nh?ng thay d?i sau:
