Aims: to help Ssask and answer about the number of the members in the family, introduce their family
Vocabulary: The members of the family: father, mother, sister, brother.....; she- her, he- his
Structures: Who`s this/that? This/ That is Ba`s mother.
- What`s her name? - Her name is Nga.
- How old is she ? – She’s.....................
Grammar: present simple tense
Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand the questions to answer about the number of the members in the family and introduce their family

Let Ss play Noughts and crosses game
Ask Ss to choose any numbers and make question and answer
Example: What is this? It’s a television…….
The team has 3 noughts or 3 crosses in a line will win a game
Introduce the new lesson
*Pre-teach vocabulary:

* Checking vocabulary: Use pictures to check vocabulary
*Set the scene:
A girl is asking about the members in Ba`s family. How does she ask? T introduce the question: "How many people are there in your family? " and how to answer
Introduce other structures:
Who is this/ that? – This/ That is....
What’s her/ his name? – Her/ His name is....
How old is she/ he? – She/ He is.......years old
* Show them the picture of a family & tell them about the relationship in the family
Drawing the grid on the boad& have ss copy
