Lesson 1: Getting Started
Geography club
I. Teaching points:
By the end of this lesson, Ss know about the natural wonders of the world and their own country. Helping Ss aware and preserve the wonders * Teaching aids: - Cards, posters, cassette & tape.

Warm up.
-Have Ss work in 2 groups.
-Give feed back.
WARM UP.
what does “ natural wonder’ mean?
Brainstorms:
valley river
cave waterfall Desert
- give some new words.
* Vocabulary checking : R.O.R
- Is just listen and repeat- so the audio should be: ( act 2)
1.Mountain
2.river3.waterfall 4.forest 5.cave 6.desert 7.lake 8.beach 9.island 10.Valley.
- Ask Ss work in pairs to label the pictures with correct words. Show the picture cards of the vocabulary. Elicit Ss` answers. Then provide the correct words.
-Pre- reading: Pre questions: T asks Ss to work in pairs
-Ss give their prediction
*While reading: Ss read the dialogue and answer the questions:
-Ss read and listen to the conversation to check their prediction.
-Give feedback.
- SS look back at the conversation in getting Started and try to find the vocabulary used.

A. WARM UP:
Imagine you are going to have a picnic, What things can you bring with?
Ss make a list of items related to travel
Explain to them some new words.
Check: Matching ( individually)
T asks Ss to work in group of 4/5 to disscus about the importance of these things in travel, put the items in order from the most useful to the least useful . Give the reasons why (activity 3)
Read and act out the sentences for Ss. Elicit ideas for sentence. Ss complete the remaining sentences. Check their ideas at the end.
B. NEW LESSON.
