As you know Christmas is the biggest festival in western countries. People often decorate Christmas tree and exchange best wishes by giving cards to each other before that day. We are going to learn some more about the history and origins of some Christmas specials.
One Christmas Eve in the early 1500s, some people decorated a tree and put in the market place in the Latvian city of Riga. This custom spread throughout Europe, and finally to America in the 1800s.
