1) The simple present tense:

The present simple is used to
- say that something happens repeatedly.
- say something is true in general.
Uses:
Contrast: present simple and present progressive tense.

The present simple is used to
- say that something happens repeatedly.
- say something is true in general
The present progressive is used to talk about something that is happening at the time of speaking.
