Objective : By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use “ a / an / some “ for further practcing in Offers and Requests for Food and Drink.

1. Set the scene :
Lan Mai
Lan : What would you like for breakfast ?
Mai : I’d like some noodles. What would you like ?
Lan : I’d like some bread and milk.
+ Form :
+ Use : dùng để hỏi ai đó ăn gì cho mỗi bữa ăn
* PRACTICE
* Example Exchange :
S1 : What would you like for [ lunch ]?
S2 : I’d like some [ rice and some beef ].

Matching
- T divides the class into 2 teams. Each team consists of 6 Ss.
- T hands out each team 6 cards with words. Each S from the teams takes turns to stick a card under the right picture. The first team finishing first and correctly is the winner.
- T introduces characters and the situation.
Dialogue Build
- T models each sentence and writes it on the board with a missing word.
- Ss repeat chorally – individually.
- T and Ss take roles - then Ss take roles in open pairs.
- T has Ss fill in the missing words.
- From the dialogue, T asks Ss to deduce the form.
Picture Drill
- T runs through the pictures B1.
- T models the 3 first pictures , using 3 meals.
- Ss repeat chorally – open pairs.
- Ss practise in close pairs the rest of the pictures
Catagories
- From B1, Ss to work in groups and put the foods and drinks in the right columns.
- T gives an example.
- T give feedback.
Numbering
- T asks Ss to look at the pictures, then number the pictures as they hear.
- T gives feedback.
