Present participle

S + V_ ING + … + V +OBJ
Eg :- The cat lying at the end of the yard is white.
- The people sitting on chair is my mother .
The usage of present participle
- Used to replace in the relative sentence
For example :
The dog eating is bought by my mother
The cat lying on the table is white
Make the sentences with present participle phrases :
1.Man / walking up the stairs
2.Person / carrying a bag
3.Boy / talking to Miss Lien
4.Boy / sitting under the tree
5.Girl / standing by the table
6.Girls / playing chess
The person carrying a bag is Miss Lien.

Eg : - The bag bought last year is still very beautiful
- The television broken out is old
Used to replace the relative sentence
For example :
