PART III: READING.
Read the text and do the exercises below.
A girl was riding a bike when she had an accident. She fell off her bike and hit her head on the road. Her head was hurt and it was badly bleeding. How ever, she was still conscious. It was an emergency so people called an ambulance in order to take her to hospital. While waiting for the ambulance, some people tried to stop the bleeding by using a handkerchief to cover the wound. Then they put the pressure on it and held it tight. They tried to talk to her so as to keep her awake. After about ten minutes, the ambulance arrived and the victim was taken to the hospital. Thanks to the timely and proper first-aid the girl was safely rescued.
