CONSOLIDATION 1
I.Objectives
By the end of the lesson, Ss can review the language they have learnt : pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar they have learnt from unit1-2-3 by doing exercises.

2.Vocabulary: review
3.Sentence Patterns: review the present continous,Simple present,there is/are,prepositions of place.

Game : What word is it?
1.It is a long seat for two or more students to sit on in the classroom. (a bench)
2.it has two wheels.Many students ride it to school.(a bicycle)
3.It has many letters and words.You use it to look up new words ( a dictionary)
4.They are of different colours.You draw and colour with them (pencils)

1. Pronunciation
+ /Z/ Final -S is pronounced /Z/ after voiced sounds (b,d,g,h.m.l. . ) and any vowel sounds .
EX : beds , dogs, cans, rooms
+ /S/ Final -S is pronounced /S/ after voiceless sounds (t, p, k, f, )
EX: cats. lamps , books, months
+ /IZ/ Final -ES is pronounced /IZ/ after S, Z, ∫ , td , ch,
EX: buses , houses , watches , pages
