Presentation: GLOBAL WARMING
Group 6
Introduction
What is global warming?
Is an increasing in the average temperature Earht’s near- surface, air, oceans
the Earth’s average temperature rose 0.6oC in the 20th century
1. Greenhouse gases?
2. Greenhouse effect?
Eg: water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane, nitrous oxide,CFC’s trap heat in the atmosphere
. 2 . An icrease in the earth’s temperature resulting from the accumulation of carbon dioxide and water vapour in the atmosphere. Excess amounts of these gases trap heat in the upper atmosphere and reflect it back to the Earth.
Greenhouse
Greenhouse gases make the earth too hot, just like:sleeping under a heavy blanket in the summertime
Our atmospheric “blanket” is over 37% “thicker” than it used to be
Thicker blanket traps too
much heat.
Thinner blanket is “just right.”
Global Warming Basics
The average Global temperature since 1860
WHICH ARE REASONS FOR GLOBAL WARMING?
NATURAL CAUSES
MAN- MADE CAUSES
Pie chart on natural causes
Natural causes

Man – made causes
Exhaust from overpopulation
1.1 Exhaust from energy
Create carbon dioxide
Create methane
Cause electrical pollution
1.2 Exhaust from transportation
Create carbon dioxide
Create nitrogen oxide
1.3 Exhaust from farming
Create methane

Effects of Global Warming
Questionnaire
What are effects of global warming ?
Rising sea levels 25%
Affecting to animals and plants 15%
Increasing in nature disasters 30%
Increasing diseases . 30%
Chart of effects
Some pictures
Effects of global warming
3.1) Affecting to sea levels and oceans
3.1.1) Effects on rising sea levels
Affect to people’s life in coastal areas.
Loose area’s land.
3.1.2) Effects on Oceans
Reduces the ocean ph level
Make oceans more acidic.
Effects of global warming
3.2) Affecting to animals and plants
3.2.1) Loose habitats and food
3.2.2) Hibernation, Breeding and Migration
Affect to ecosystem
Affect to people’s demand
Affect to all life on Earth
3.2.3) Plants
Bloom early ,develop slowly .

Effects of Global warming
3.3) Effects on health of people
High temperature can have strongly negative influence on human biology and disturb human’s metabolism and cause people to die.
Heat waves killed many people.
Global warming increases in mosquito population. So it brings up many diseases.
Global warming also changes climate of ozone.
Sunlight contains UV-A, UV-B, UV-C. It causes some diseases.
3.4) Natural disasters
The storms are increasing in dangers and destruction
There are a lot of floods, earthquakes, volcanic activities.

Solutions
Government
USA and other individual nations use less of the fossil fuels
All nations together protect our Earth before Global Warming
4.2. individual
4.2.1. Reduce, reuse, recycle the waste
4.2.2. Grow plants
4.2.3. Save energy
4.2.4. Encourage to use food from plants
4.2.1. reduce, reuse, recycle the waste
1. reducing:
-buy and use what you need
-buy products with less packaging
-buy products that use less toxic chemical
2. reuse:-use empty jars to hold leftover food
-reuse boxes
-reuse your shopping packaging
3. recycle:-recycle paper, plastic cardboard....
-recycle electronics
-recycle used motor oil
-compost food scarpt and dead plants
-buy recycle products
4.2.2. Grow plants
Reduce carbondioxide in the atmostphere
Provide much needed share in the summer, reduce energy and fossil fuel.
Store CO2 when forest are burned or cut down there store carbon is release into the atmostphere deforestation now accounts for about 20% dioxide emission each year
Can limit many effects on climare change such as floods, storms, soil eronion…
4.2.3. Save energy
Turn off lights, televisions, computers, video…when you do not use.
Umplug chargers as soon as they have finished charing.
Shouldn’t leave fridge door open for longer than necessary.
Replace a regular light with a compact fluorescent light.
Drive less instead of using bikes, buses or walk
Check our tires, replace the old tires, pump bike tire
Use fresh energies
4.2.4. encourage to use food from plants
Buy organic food as much as possible
Remove 589 billion pounds of CO2 from the atmosphere.
Eat less meat
Buy fresh food instead of frozen.
Choose food produced near our home
Let’s save our Earth
thanks for your listening
