3. New lesson.
3.1 Warm up. ( 5 mins)
_ Ask and answer drill + Did you learn English 7 last year?
+ Do you remember it?
+ What did you learn? Which tense did you learn
( Students own answer
3.2 Activity 1:(4 mins) Past simple tense
Form: S + V(Past) + O
ex: I saw him yesterday. / It was a beautiful day.
3.3 Activity 2(4 mins) : Present simple tense
Form: S + be/V- infinitive + O
egs: I am a student. I live in Noong Het.
3.4 Activity 3(4 mins) : Present progressive tense
Form: S + be + Ving + …
egs: I am playing marble.
He is listening music.
3.5 Activity 4(4 mins) : Adverbs of frequency: always, usually, often, sometimes, never
eg: I always go to school on time.
3.6 Activity 5(4 mins) :Adverbs: too/so ; neither/ either.
* Too/ so: Use in affirmative
* neither/ either: use in negative.
Egs: A: I like beef
B: I do, Too/so do I
A: I don’t like apple
B: Neither do I/ I don’t either
3.7 Activity 5: Exercises : ( 15 mins)
_ I gives some exercises and guides students to do fluently.
Exercise 1: Choose the correct words
Last year, she … in Ha Noi capital

2. I … a young sister. She’s only 7.

3. She is … a newspaper

Exercise 2: Rewrite there sentences. Put the frequency expressions in brackets into the right places.

They are late for their class. (often)
Exercise 3: Match the lines in A with the lines in B
