2. The past progresive tense(Thì quaù khöù tieáp dieãn )
S +was /were + V-ing +O
-Dieãn taû moät haønh ñoäng ñang dieãn ra taïi moät thôøi ñieåm xaùc ñònh ôû quaù khöù
( at 8 o’clock lastnight / at this time last Sunday )
- Diễn tả hai hành động xảy ra song song cùng một lúc :

-Hai haønh ñoäng dieãn ra ôû quaù khöù. Moät haønh ñoäng ñang dieãn ra thì coù moät haønh ñoäng khaùc chen vaøo .Haønh ñoäng ñang dieãn ra chia thì qktd , haønh ñoäng chen vaøo chia thì qkñ .

3.The present progressive tense (Thì hieän taïi tieáp dieãn )

-Duøng vôùi töø “always “ dieãn taû lôøi phaøn naøn.
