Lesson 4. A COMMUNICATION
I./. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, students can:
Talk about school activities, subjects and what Ss do at school.
Listen to get information about school activities.
Talk about their friends
Give nice sentences about friendship

Vocabulary: pocket money, share, remember, help, classmate, keep quiet, talk, travel, …..

I. Warm up
T. Lets Ss watch a video clip about “making friend”
II. Presentation
* Vocabulary
T. elicits Voc by using pictures or real items.
- listen and repeat.
Rub out and remember.
T. calls a student to the board and rewrite al the words in English.
* T. asks Ss how they often make friends, what they often say when they first meet a new friend….
T. introduce the rules of the game.
III. Practice
Task 1
- Ss work in groups to ask their friends with the question on P 11. and tick the questions that they think are suitable to ask a new friend at school.
- Ss have 5 minutes to write questions on a peace of paper, share them with the class.
Task 2.
a) T. divides class into 6 groups
Ss practice, ask and give the answers with Yes/no.
b) - Ss use the questions and give nice sentences about friendship.
IV. Production
T. calls some Ss to the board and present to the class about their good friends.
V. Homework.
Watch a video clip.

Ss share question with their friends.

Where do you go shopping?
Ss take turn to interview the other members, using the questions.
Do you remember all your new classmates’ names?
Do you help your teacher in the class?
Do you share things with your classmates?
Do you keep quiet when your teacher is talking?
Do you play with your classmates at break time?
Do you help your classmates with their homework?
Do you travel to school with your classmates?
Do you listen when your classmates are talking?
