Getting started + Listen and read
I.Objectives
-Ss Can talk about their favorite activities and introduce their friends to others.
-Focus on: Listening and reading skills.
II. Language Contents
Grammar:

+(Not) Adj + Enough + to Infinitive
III-Teaching aids:
Pictures, cassette tape and cassette player.
IV- Procedures:
Teacher and Ss’ activities
Contents
1.warm up:
-T:Stick the pictures (getting started) on the board.Then Ask Ss some questions about the picture (a)
-Ss: Answer the questions.
-T: ask Ss to work in pair (ask – answer) about the pictures (b,c,d).
-Ss: Pairwork.
-T: Give feedback.
2.Presentation:
-Stick the picture on the board, ask Ss to guess
-Ss: Look at the picture and guess.
-T: Introduce the dialogue.
-T: Elicit and present the new words and structures.
-Ss: Take notes
-T: Have Ss read the new words and Structures in chorus and individual.
-Ss: Read in chorus and individual
3.Practice:
-T: Play the tape (twice)
-Ss: Listen to the tape.
-T:Have Ss read the dialogue in pair.
-Ss:Pairwork
-T:Ask some pairs of Ss to read the dialogue aloud.
-Ss: Read loudly in front of the dialogue
-T:Have Ss work in pair to find the answers for the questions (a,b,c,d).
-Ss: Pairwork.
-T:Ask Ss to practice in front of class.
-Ss:Ask and answer in front of class.
-T: Check and give feedback.
- What are these boys doing?
-Where are they playing soccer?
- What time of the day do you think it is?
- Do you like (playing) soccer?
-Who are they?
-Where is Hoa from? Where is she living now? Who does she live with?
-What is she talking to Lan?

4.Consolidation:T uses mapping and asks Ss to retell about Nien -Hoa,s next – door neighbor
