Period 1: INTRODUCE SUBJECT AND HOW TO STUDY
I. Objectives
1. knowledge : Helps sts to know somethings about Eghlish, why it is taught in school and know how impotant to learn Eghlish. Students can understand how to learn Eghlish.
2. Skill : Helps sts to improve the skill listening , practice, reading.
3. Education : Helps sts to educate sts to love the subject.
II. Teaching aids:
1. Teacher :Textbook, pen , chalk , ruler , lesson plan.
2. Students ::Textbook, pen , ruler , notebook .
III. teaching procedures
1. Warm up (5’)
a) Questions
+ Have you learn English?
+ Where?
+Who taught you?
+ Which book?
+ Do you like learning english?
b) Answer
+ chưa ạ
+ chúng em rất thích học Tiếng Anh ạ
c) Presentation(12’)
+ Enghlish 6 is for begining learners
It is easy and suitable for students
It is an international language
In Vietnam Vietnamese is mother tonge and English is the second language
+ There are 16 units in Enghlish 6
Each unit has 6 lessons
Unit 1: Greetings
Unit 2: At school
Unit 3: At home
Unit 4: Big and small
Unit 5: Things I do
Unit 6: Places
Unit 7: Your house
Unit 8:Out and about
Unit 9: The body
Unit 10: Staying healthy
Unit 11: What do you eat?
Unit 12: Sports and pastimes
Units 13: Activities and season
Unit 14: Making plan
Unit 15: Countries
Unit 16: Man’s environment

2. Practice (15’)
+ Explains how Enghlish is formed
How to learn Enghlish

3. Production (10’)
+ Retell some things about Enghlish 6

4. Homework (3’)
+ Prepare unit 1 ( part A)
+ Learn the phrases you have learned in this lesson

2. Skills: Helps sts to improve reading, speaking, listening, writing.
3. Education: Helps sts know to use language accurrately.
II.Teaching aids
1. Teacher : Student’s & teacher’s books, workbook , lesson plan, chalk, ruler
2.Students: Student’s & workbooks, pen , ruler, notebook, prepare the lesson
III. Teaching procedures:
1.Warm up (5’)

+How do you greet and introduce ?
b. Answer
+ greet and introduce name
+ Xin chào , mình tên là.......
c. Introduce: Today we are going to study about the way greetings in English
