Lesson 1: Getting started & listen and read
I Aims:
-By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to introduce people, respond to introductions.
-To develop reading and listening skills
-To educate Ss know how to communicative with their friends
II. Language content:
-Simple present and simple past tenses
III. Teaching method:
-Pairs work, groups work, extensive reading
IV. Teaching aids:
- Lesson plan E.8, textbook, pictures, sub.board, tape and cassette

1. Warm up (5’)
- Jumbled words:

2. Getting started (6’)
T asks Ss to look at four pictures on page Ss work in groups to say something about

-By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to describe someone and complete the dialogue by listening to the tape.
-To develop speaking and listening skills
-To educate Ss to know how to communicative with their friends
II. Language content:
-Simple present and simple past tenses (review)
- Vocabulary: curly, bald, blond...
III. Teaching method:
-Pairs work, groups work, intensive speaking and extensive listening.
IV. Teaching aids:
- Lesson plan E.8, textbook, pictures, sub.board, tape and cassette...
V.Procedure:
1. Warm up: (5’) Chatting

T shows Ss a picture of Mary and asks them to describe her hair, her body build.
