A. The Aims and Requests.
1. Aims: Helping Ss listen and read about a fisrt aid course to know what they need to do and make acquanted with modal “will” to make requests, offers, and promises.
2. Requests: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to listen and read about a fisrt-aid course to know what they need to do and make acquanted with modal “will” to make requests, offers, and promises.
3. Preparation. 2posters, 1tape, 1casettee.

1. Organization. Geeting.Good morning
Who is absent today ?
2.Checking up the old lesson.
3.New- Lesson.
+ Introduction: When we have a hand cut or meet an
accident. We must call the ambulance and how we do a
first aid course ? In this lesson we will study about it.
+ Warmer( network)
- Ss write out the ways to help the victims in the
emergency.
1. Pre-teach.( Vocabulary).
- Eliciting-Modeling-Asking Ss to repeat chorally then
individually.
- A burn : Vết bỏng.
- (to) bleed : Chảy máu.
- An emergency : Tình trạng khẩn cấp/ cấp cứu.
- An ambulance : Xe cứu thương.
- Conscious (adj) : Tỉnh táo/ trong tình trạng tỉnh táo
- The wound : Vết thương.
- Put pressure(v) : Nhấn, ấn
+ Checking up vocabulary.( R&R).
A. Listen and read.
+ Set the scene:
Lan Nurse
- Lan is calling the ambulance. She is talking with the nurse about her friend situation.
- Asking Ss to listen to the tape 2 times with book and read
follow.
- Asking ss to practise the dialogue in pairs.
- Calling some pairs to practise chorally.
- Correct Ss’ pronunciation.
1.Comprehension questions.
- Ask Ss to read the dialogue again and choose the topics covered in the dialogue in ex-2 p81.
- Get feedback and correct .
+ Answer key:
a ; b ; c ; e ; f
B. Presentation.( modal “will” to make requests, offers, and promises.)
- Ask Ss to find the sentences with “will”.
- Eliciting- modeling-asking Ss to repeat chorally then individually.
Eg:
Nurse: She mustn’t fall asleep.
Lan : I promise I will keep her awake.
- The promise with will is a new target form of grammar that we will study deeply and further in speak lesson.
Form :
+ Use: to describe the actions in the future or the promise.
1.exercise.( language focus2)
-Ask Ss to choose the correct answers.
- Calls some of Ss to write on board.
- Get feedback and correct.
+ Answer key:
1.will ; 2.will ; 3.won’t ; 4.shall ; 5.will ; 6. ‘ll
4. Consolidation.
- Ask Ss to answer the questions .
1. Who call the ambulance ?
2. What happened with the student in Quang Trung school?
3. What does Lan need to do ?
4. Is it good to let her fall asleep ?
- Teacher sums up the content of the lesson.
5. Homework.
- learn the new words.
- Do exercise 1,2.
