Period 1: INTRODUCE THE WAY TO LEARN ENGLISH 7 $ REVIEW
I/ Aims: Help the Ss know the way to learn English 7 and review the grammatical points in English 6.
II/ Objectives: Gap structures and do exercises.
III/ Presentation of the new materials:
1. The simple present tenses: S + V(pre) + ..................
* Examples:
- She is in class 7.
- She studies English well.
* Notes: To be: -> is/am/are
- Động từ thường đi với ngôi thứ 3 số ít thì thêm Vs/ Ves, ở hình thức số nhiều thì ta giữ nguyên (Vnguyên mẫu)
Ask Ss to recall,put examples.
2.Present progressive tenses: S + BE + V-ING + ...............
* Examples:
- Lan is studying English.
- They are playing soccer.
3. Play game: BINGO
Ask Ss to write words.
Which is the same words into the sentenses.
- I’m studying history.
- She’s watching a cartoon.
- The boys are playing games.
- We are waiting for a bus.
- He’s reading a book.

I/ Aims: - To help Ss grab the greeting sentenses “Nice to meet you, How is every thing?, Just fine, Not bad, pretty good.”
II/ Ojectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to introduce and to greet with someone.
III/ Teaching aids: poster, tape,group, pairwork.
V/ Procedure:
1. Warm up: Slap the board
Ss listen and slap the suitable response.
1/ What’s your name? 4/ Are you a new student?
2/ How are you today? 5/ Goodbye.
3/ What class are you in? 6/ What do you say to your freinds when you first meet after the summer holiday?
Goodbye class 7A Yes, Iam
My’s Hoa Very well thanks Nice to meet you again
2. Presentation of the new materials:
a/ Vocabulary:
* Matching:
- pretty good -Không tốt lắm
- How is every thing? -Tôi cũng vậy
- Nice to meet you. -Khá tốt
- So am I/ I’m, too -Mọi việc như thế nào?
- Just fine . -Rất vui khi gặp anh.
- Not bad -Bình thường thôi
Ask Ss to practice the dialogue and play the roles of Ba, Nga and Hoa, Hoa and Nam.
Ask Ss to practice in a pair with the questions.
* A3: T puts the questions.
1/ What do you say to greet in morning? -> Good morning.
2/ What do you say to ask to the health? -> How are you?
Ask Ss to read and to practice the dialogue.
* A4/ Gab-fill a,b:
Ss work on their own list, then compare with their partners, Ss listen and check.
* A5/ Ask Ss to look at your pictures
Ex:
1/ Who are they in the picture? -> Mr Tan and Ba.
2/ Where arew they? -> They are in school.
3/ What are they doing? -> They are talking.
Listen ( Ss don’t write), look at the pictures and listen (Ss write)
Call Ss answer, give feedback.
