Vietnamese traditional medicine
Many people in Viet Nam use traditional medicine to cure illnesses. While there are also Western-style hospitals and forms of treatment in Viet Nam, traditional medicine is still very popular.
To treat headaches, backaches, stomach problems and other illnesses, millions of people use these traditional methods. Like traditrional medicines used in China and Korea, plants and animals. While Western medicine treats only the symptoms, Vietnamese medicine treats the whole body.
When you visit a traditional Vietnamese doctor, the doctor takes your pulse and check your tongue. Then he or she decides which medicine you should take for your illness.
