"Demi" Lovato was born in August 20, 1992 is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She played Mitchie Torres- a 14 year old girl with hopes of becoming a singer -in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock, Besides acting, she is also a solo music artist and released her debut album Don`t Forget on September 23, 2008. Lovato began her acting career at the age of 6 on the children`s television series Barney & Friends ,appearing in seasons 7 and 8. Lovato began singing and dancing at a very young age. Lovato is currently starring in a new Disney Channel Original Series. She will reprise her Mitchie Torres role in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock 2. I love her.
TOPIC 2: YOUR SUMMER VACATION PLAN
Singapore is the beautiful city. My mom decides to go there in this summer. We are going to stay in a hotel for a week. First, we are going to visit the Singapore zoo and the Singapore river at the Kim Sang bridge. This is the most famous river in Singapore. In the second day, we are going to visit Sentosa island and enjoy seafood in the restaurant. The next morning, we are going to Maritime Museum to check out the fantastic display of ship models. In the afternoon, we are going to Civilian War Memorial. It looks like a chopstick. Then we are going to swim in the sea and watch the sunset. And the rest days, we are going to see the Merlion Statue, supermarket and buy some souvernirs for my family and my friends.
TOPIC 3: YOUR LAST MOVIE
“My brothers and sisters” is the film I like most. I saw it when I was 9 years old. It showed 4 ordinary characters how they live in a distant village in China. There were 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Their mother was going to die for cancer. She decided to find the rich and kind families for them. They were brought up and studied well. One day, they met each other at their second sister’s concert by chance. They recognized one another. They were very happy. Up to then, they kept in touch each other. The story ended happily. I like it so much. I respect the mother who was kind-hearted and I love the sentiments of those sisters and brothers.
TOPIC 4: TELL AN AMAZING ESCAPE THAT YOU KNOW
In 1989 Thomas Root was on his way from Washington to Florida in his small plane. When he was driving, he had a heart attack and became unconscious. The plane flew 1000 miles and then crashed into the ocean. The crash woke him up. He climbed out of the plane before it sank. He swam away and a helicopter rescued him.
TOPIC 5: TELL A ROBBERY STORY THAT YOU KNOW
At 9.30 p.m last week, I was watching TV with my family when 2 mans in a motorbike with masks and black suits stopped outside my neighbor’s house. One of them went into a house. The thief walked gently to the cupboard and quickly stole the bag of money. But the owner noticed him. She pulled the bag back but the thief was stronger so he took a bag and ran out of the house. When the thieves ran away, she shouted loudly. People around there followed and caught them. After 3 minutes, the police arrived and took them to the police station. People were happy because they helped a woman. Up to then, they are always vigilant over the strange people.
