I/ Chọn một từ/cụm từ thích hợp để hoàn chỉnh các câu sau. Ghi số câu và từ/cụm từ cần điền vào giấy làm bài thi. (3,0 diểm)
Ví dụ: 0. They ......... travel by motorbike in the past. (didn`t used to/ doesn`t use to/ wasn`t use to/

II/ Cho dạng đúng của động từ trong ngoặc. Ghi số câu và nội dung trả lời vào giấy làm bài. (2 điểm)
1. The moon ................. (go) around the earth and the earth moves around the sun.
2. Would you like to go to the movies tonight? - Sorry, I can`t. I ................. (visit) my Grandma.
3. We ............... (move) here 2 months ago. We ...................... (live) here for 2 months.
III/ Đọc đoạn văn sau và xem các câu dưới đây đúng hay sai theo nội dung đoạn văn. Ghi số câu và viết (T) True cho câu đúng, (F) False cho câu sai vào giấy làm bài. (3 điểm)
Ly started learning English when she was in grade 6. In her first year Ly had difficulty in learning English. She didn`t know how to learn vocabulary. Her pronunciation of English words was bad and her English grammar was even worse. She used to get poor marks with the English subject. One day at the beginning of the second semester her teacher of English, Mr. Tri gave her a cassette and asked her to listen to it. He showed Ly different ways of learning English words. He asked her to do grammar exercises in Workbook. He also told good students in her class to help her with her homework. One year later her English was satisfactory. "Now I`m in grade 8," she said, "I don`t find English very difficult."

Ví dụ: 0. She / be proud / her son / because / he / very hard.
( She is proud of her son because he studies (works) very hard.
1. My teacher / tell me / spend more time / English and Math.
