To really understand a culture, you must speak the language. There is a trend to learn English all over the world now. It is true that English has become the international language of business, aviation and communication. Most leading countries in the world speak English. If we know English, we can communicate to read books in English. We can earn and understand about the modern technology and science from these advanced countries.
But how to learn English well? My teacher advises me I should use English as often as possible. That means I should speak English with my friends regularly, learn by heard all the new words, write English words as much as possible, watch TV programs, listen to English tapes or English programs on the radio, read short stories or newspapers in English, do more grammar exercises in grammar books, use a dictionary to look up new words, etc…
