In Britain, natural gas in the most popular fuel of heating homes, and for cooking. It is pipel all over the country from the gas filds below the North Sea. Natural gas in used chiefly as direct source of energry, although it is also used in chemical industry. At the moment the supply is plentiful, but it will be running short by the end of the century, and will run out, during the 21st century unless are foud. We could do without natural gas, as coal gas can be used as a substiture, and there should be enough coal to last for several centuries. However, it is a from of energy which is not only cheap, but aslo highly efficient.
