The enveronment is everything around us, both natural and made by man. A major problem in the world today is the destruction of the natural environment.
This is complecated problem. We burn fuel and throw away plastic bags these cause pollution . We have made thousands of new chemicals, factories that made or use chemicals always chemical wastes. These are often poesonous, and thay also stay in the environment.
What should we do at school or at home to minimize pollution ? for me, We could pick up garbage littered and put it into a gabage bin, we can reuse bottles and cans, use banana leaves or papers to wrap foot, not throw trash into the water or ground. That is how we can keep the school yard clean and protect the environement.
Moreover, using the public buses can reduce exhaust fume and threefore we can keep the air cleaner.
I think that it is not enough simply to talk about the problem . We must act now before it too late to do anything about it . Join us now to protect the environment. That is how we can save the Earth.

Do you have any close friends ? I think everybody at last has one close friend in their life. And so do I. I have two close friends, Hanh and Mai. We are in the same class at primary school, and then seconday school. We are also nerghbors so we spend most of our time in learning and playing together. Hanh is a beautiful girl with black eyes and oval face. She is an intelligent student who is always at the top of the class. She likes reading, and she often goes to the library whenever she has free time. Mai isn’t as beautiful as Hanh, but she has a lovely smile and looks very healthy. Mai is very sporty. She spends most of her free time playing sport. Mai is a volleyball star of our school. She is also very sociable and has a good sense of humor. Her jokes always make us laugh. I love both of my friends and I always hope our friendship will never die.

The country and the city have advantages and disadvantages. People in the country live in more beautiful environment. They enjoy peace and quiet, and can do their work at their own pace because no one is in a hurry. They live in large, more comfortable houses, and their neighbors are more friendly, and ready to hilp them when they need it. Their life can be monotonous and thay can be isolated a long way from the nearest town, which is a serious problem if they are ill ro have to take children to school.
The city has all the services the country lacks, but it also has a lot of disadvantages. Cities are often ugly and polluted; they not only have bad air bad but are also noise.
For my part, no matter how comfortable or convenient the city life may be, I till prefer living in the country. I think it is heathier and more peaceful to live a countryside than in the city.

Television is one of man’s most inportant means of communication. It brings pictures and sounds from the world into millions of homes. A person with a television set can sit in his house and watch the President make a speech or visit a foreign country. He see a war being fought and watch statesment try to bring about peace. Through television, home viewers can see and learn about people, places, and things in faraway lands.
In addition to all these things, television brings its viewers a steady stream of programs that are designed to entertain. In fact, TV provides many more entertainment programs than any other kind.
