Comparasion
In the end = finally or after sometime
Ex: In the end she came back to LonDon with the first prize in the beauty contest
At the end = at the point where something stops
Ex: They are going to Korea at the end of this month
In time = early enough
Ex: He arrived at the station in time to catch the 7.00 train (he arrived there before 7.00)
On time = at exactly the right time
Ex: My English class begins at 7.30 every Monday morning and the professor always comes to class on time (always at 7.30)
Like is used to talk about similarity
Like can be used to give examples
Ex: he can play some sports like football, tennis

It’s silly to give up a good job like yours
As is used to talk about someone’s job
Ex: She worked as a secretary for a big company
