Lesson plan – English 6 =================== Truong THCS Dai Ban
I .Objective
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to remember the knowledge that they have learnt
1. Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: remember the vocabularies which they have learnt
- Language: Further practice in the Question words, Adj with “be”, Possessive Adjs, This- these- that- those, There is/ there are, How many + Ns + are there
2. Skills: speaking, reading, writing
3. Attitude:
- Ss have a good study habit and love studying
II. Preparations
Teacher: a reference book
Students: work book, note book
III. Anticipated problems and solutions
1.Some weak students can make mistakes when they use the possessive adj.
2.teacher should give them examples.

1. Activity 1: ( 8’ )
Question words
- Ss play a game
*Noughts and Crosses
- Divide the class into 2 teams: A & B
Ask Ss to make questions, using the question words & answer using the information in the boxes


2. Activity 2 ( 7’ )
Adj with “be”
T gives 2 sentences: It’s a big school
Is your school big?
Yes, it is/ No, it isn’t
Ss look at and give form
- Ask Ss to repeat the function and the positions of adjective
*Word cue drill
Ss run through all word cues
T models: Is your school big ?
No, it isn’t
Ss do the same ( P- W )
3. Activity 3: Possessive adjs (8’)
- Ss retell the personal pronouns, then change them into possessive adjs





Exercise 1: Fill in the blanks with personal pronouns or possessive adjs
Ss run through the sentences first. then prepare with their partners for 2’
Call some Ss to do on the board
Give feedback




4. Activity 4 ( 8’)
This- these- that- those: dùng để xác định người hay vật ở gần hoặc xa.
- This/ that: dùng để xác định một người hay một vật
- These/ those: dùng để xác định nhiều người hay nhiều vật.
There is/ there are
- There is: đi với danh từ đếm được ở số ít
- There are đi với danh từ đếm được ở số nhiều
