The charts below show the number of Japanese tourists travelling abroad between 1985 and 1995 and Australian share of the Japanese tourist market.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. • You should write at least 150 words.

A survey describing Japanese tourists traveling abroad and their attendance in Australian from 1985 to 1995 was illustrated in these charts.
As can be seen from the first chart, except for a slight drop occurring in 1991and a plateau hovering at about 11.8 millions between1992-1993; there was a gradual rise in the number of tourists from Japan to other countries during the two periods: 1985-1990 reaching approximately 10 millions and 1994-1995 in which the amount increased by around 15%.
Turning to the proportions of Japanese tourists coming to Australia over the stage of 1985 to1995; it unavoidably suffered erratic changes, the trend was literally towards the positive direction. Specifically, the Australia’s share started with 2% of Japan’s tourist market was going up straight to 5% over only 4 years then dropping by 1% in 1989. Thereafter, the sample turned to the bright situation by rocketing steadily to the top of 6.5% by the year of 1993. It was then that the pattern plummeted slowly over the end of decade.
In short, Australia’s share on Japan’s tourism continuously raised and showed an increase of three times after a period of nine years, whereas, Japan’s tourists travelled abroad shoot up remarkably by an increase of 11.5 million people after a decade. (209 words)
