Wedding Cancellation Letter

Dear Penny,
It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that we have decided to cancel our forthcoming wedding which was due to take place on Sunday May 1st.
This is a mutual(lẫnnhau) decision and it is only after thorough(kĩlưỡng) thinking that we have come to this conclusion, one which is a personal one. It is a setback for us but it shouldn`t be for you, that is why we have written it as promptly(ngaylậptức) as we could.

We are apologetic for this cancellation as we sincerely understand that many invitees such as you may or have already arranged to take time off work and made a certain schedule of travelling and accommodation. Therefore, accept our sincerest apology if this has caused you any inconvenience. We have also received a number of wedding presents in advance and we will be returning these to the appropriate guests over the next couple of weeks.

Once again, we both apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
