Geographical position of england
England is the southern part of Great Britain and the largest country in the UK.

It is only 35 km from France, the Channel Tunnel under the English Channel links England and France.

It occupies most of the southern two-thirds of the island of Great Britain and shares land borders with Scotland to the north, and Wales to the west.

England is named after the Angles
