EIFFEL TOWER
INTRODUCTION
Eiffel Tower (French: Tour Eiffel) is an iron structure on the park Champ-de-Mars, beside the River Seine, Paris. The original capital is called Tower 300 meters (300 meters Tour de), works by Gustave Eiffel and his colleagues built the World Exhibition in 1889, as well as 100-year anniversary of the French Revolution
Original height of the building is 300 meters, as designed, but the antenna atop the Eiffel Tower to reach 325 meters. Since its inauguration in 1889, the Eiffel Tower is the world`s tallest building and maintaining this position for over 40 years. From the beginning, besides the functions of tourism, the Eiffel Tower is also used for scientific purposes. Today, the tower continues to be a radio station and television for the Paris metropolitan area.
Become a symbol of "capital light", the Eiffel Tower is one of the famous buildings in the world. Since its inauguration until 2007, the tower has more than 236 million visitors. In 2007, the Eiffel Tower has welcomed nearly 7 million visitors, keep the position of the charge attraction in the world.

The official address of the Eiffel Tower at 5 avenue Anatole France, District 7, Paris. Situated on theSeine River, the Eiffel Tower in a straight line from the Palais de Chaillot start, the Trocadero gardens and the river, then along to the Eiffel Champ-de-Mars, to the École Militaire and almost directly next to the Montparnasse tower. These are the famous works of Paris, was completed in different phases. Palais de Chaillot`s yard, next to Trocadero Square, is the perfect place to see the tower.

He is best known for designing the Eiffel Tower, built in 1887-1889 for the 1889 World Exhibition in Paris, France, and reinforced the Statue of Liberty, at the Port of New York, United States

Since 1960, international tourist arrivals increased, directly followed by the number of people visited the tower. The amount of visitors each year increased almost steadily since 1970 and first reached 6 million in 1998. This increase has led to the need of renovation, remodeling of the tower. Work conducted from 1980 to 1985, with three main directions:
+ To lighten the structure of the building
+ Rebuild all elevators and stairways
+ Use the new safety measures, appropriate number of passengers increases.
The Eiffel Tower was less excess 1340 tons, was repainted and anti-corrosive treatment. The elevator was replaced and open dining restaurant Jules-Verne. Lighting measures also improved.
Eiffel Tower became a symbol of Paris and France, one of the most famous works in the world. Starting from the last decades of the 20th century, the Champ-de-Mars Eiffel Tower hosts festivals, concerts in the city. As of 2007, total visitors to the tower has reached more than 236 million numbers. In 2007, the Eiffel Tower welcomed 6,893,000 tourists visited.
