GRAMMAR
We use should and shouldn’t to give advice or to talk about what we think is right or wrong.
Examples:
1. You look tired. You should go to bed
2. We shouldn’t talk loud in public.
3. What should I do when I don’t understand a foreigner speaking English, Mum?
4. You should ask the person to speak more slowly.
Remember !

CONDITIONAL CLAUSE
Type II
The second conditional is used to describe unreal or unlikely events in the present or in the future.
A sentence with the second conditional has two clauses:
if + subject + past simple + ……..
+
subject + would + verb + ……..
1. If I could go anywhere, I would go to Paris.
2. If she could do anything, she would study medicine.
3. If they worked harder, they could have a bumper crop.
4. If I were braver, I would go skating.
5. If today were Sunday, we would not have to go to work.
