What should we do if we live in an earthquake zone?
We should do :
before an earthquake
- Listen to the weather forecast regularly.
- Know energency tel.No.( doctor/ hospital/ police.)
- Fix heavy objects firmly to walls/ on the ground of the house.
- Never place heavy objects overhead/ beds..
- Family members should know how to turn off gas, water, electricity.
during an earthquake
- Stay inside: Stand in doorway/ desks/ tables.
- Stand outside: Stand away far from buildings, trees,electrical lines.
- Stop in safe area, stay in your own vehicle..
after an earthquake
- Check for injures, call for energency
- Provide first aids
- Check for safety
- Check for gas, water, electricity, sewage breaks, building damage.
- Clean up homes, streets..
