I.Tsunami
What is Tsunami ?
Tsunamis, also known as seismic sea waves, are a series of enormous waves created by an underwater disturbance such as an earthquake, landslide, volcanic eruption, or meteorite.
A tsunami can move hundreds of miles per hour in the open ocean and smash into land with waves as high as 100 feet or more.
II.What cause Tsunami ?
The energy released produces tsunami waves.
Plate slips, causing subsidence and releasing energy into water
Overriding plate bulges under strain, causing tectonic uplift.
Drawing of tectonic plate boundary before earthquake
II.Storm
What is Storm ?
Storm is a heavy fall of rain, snow, or hail, or a violent outbreak of thunder and lightning, unaccompanied by strong winds. Also called violent storm.
Meteorology. a wind of 64–72 miles per hour (29–32 m/sec).
It include: Ice storm, Blizzard, Snow-storm, Fire-storm, Dust devil, Wind-storm, Squall, Gale, Tropical cyclone, Hail-storm and Tornado
II.What cause Storm ?
Storms are created when a center of low pressure develops with a system of high pressure surrounding it. This combination of opposing forces can create winds and result in the formation of storm clouds, such as the cumulonimbus. Small localized areas of low pressure can form from hot air rising off hot ground, resulting in smaller disturbances such as dust devils and whirlwinds.
