-know how to use some prepositions of movement.

-Ask Ss to look at the pictures and read through the conversation.
-“ Who are the people?”
-Play the tape.
-Go through the answer with the class.
-Remind Ss of how they use the past simple tense of to be: was and were.
-Introduce how to use this tense of regular verbs.
-Write on the gapped table and invite Ss to complete it.
-“How do we make the past simple tense?”
-Ask Ss to complete the sentences.
-Divide Ss into pairs to discuss the questions.
-Ask Ss to work individually to complete the sentences.
