 We usually use Although, Even Though, Despite, In Spite of when we want to show an unexpected result.
 Adverbial clauses/ phrases of concession make a contrast with the idea expressed in the independent clause. They are introduced by Although, Even Though, Despite, In Spite of
Ex: Although it was pretty cold, she wasn’t wearing a coat.
