Although there are many celebrations throughout the year, Tet or the Lunar New Year holiday is the most important celebration for Vietnamese people. Tet is a festival which occurs in late January or early February. It is a time for families to clean and decorate their homes, and enjoy special food such as sticky rice cakes. Family members who live apart try to be together at Tet.

Passover is in late March or early April. This festival is celebrated
in Israel and by all Jewish people. On this festival, people celebrate freedom from slavery. Passover is also an ancient spring festival. On the first and second nights of Passover, Jewish families eat a special meal called the Seder.

Lễ Phục Sinh (Easter):là một ngày lễ quan trọng của người theo Kitụ giáo , ngày
này thường diễn ra vào một ngày chủ nhật của tháng 3 ho?c 4 mỗi nam để tưởng niệm
sự kiện Phục sinh của chúa Giêsu từ cõi chết sau khi bị đóng đinh trên thập tự giá.
Vào ngày này trẻ con thường nhận được rất nhiều kẹo sôcôla hoặc bánh trứng đường- một loại kẹo hỡnh quả trứng. Ngoài đường phố thỡ có rất nhiều cuộc diễu hành.
Lễ Vượt Qua hay lễ Quá Hải là lễ quan trọng nhất của người Do Thái, kéo dài một tuần. Chiều ngày 14 tháng Ni-xan (khoảng tháng ba, tháng tư dương lịch), người ta sát tế chiên (cừu) tại đền thờ, rồi tư tế lấy máu chiên mà đổ dưới chân bàn thờ. Khi đêm xuống, người ta sẽ ăn tiệc chiên vượt qua theo gia đình hay theo nhóm mà không quên lấy chút máu chiên bôi lên cửa nhà. Lễ Vượt Qua được cử hành như một cuộc tưởng niệm nhằm giúp mỗi người sống lại kinh nghiệm của cha ông họ được giải phóng khỏi ách nô lệ Ai Cập xưa kia. Trong bữa tiệc, người ta ăn thịt chiên với bánh không men và rau đắng, ngoài ra, họ cũng uống với nhau bốn chén rượu đã được vị chủ tọa bữa tiệc chúc lành để kỉ niệm bốn lời hứa của Thiên Chúa với dân Do Thái:
