Warm up: Work in group: Look at the pictures carefully then name the jobs.

Task 1: Match a job in A with at least two descriptions in B
* Vocabularies

= to build (v)
irrigation systems (n.p)
= systems which take water into the fields for crops

= unreal

imaginary character (n.p)

Task 1: Match a job in A with at least two descriptions in B
Eg: A doctor is a person who helps save people’s lives and takes care of people’s health.
Task 2: Discuss which of the jobs in column A you would/ would not like to do. Explain why/why not?, using the cues in column B.
EXAMPLE
A: What would you like to be?
B: I would like to be a pilot
A: Why do you like it?
B: Working as a pilot would be an interesting job because I would have a chance to work with plane.

dangerous
challenging
fantastic
Task 3: Work in groups to talk about a job you may do after you finish school, using the following cues:
+ Where you will work (The place to work)
+ Who you will work with (The people to work with)
+ The salary you may get paid (The suggested salary)
+ The working conditions (The conditions at work)
In the future, I will work as a teacher
I will work with the children in my homeland
I will get high salary to help my parents.
I hope I will work in a good working condition.
Example:
Homework:
- In not more than 80 words, write about the job you would like to work in the future
- Prepare listening lesson
