Oktoberfest, which is held annually in Munich, Germany, is the largest beer festival in the world . It is a 16 to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October.
La tomatina is held in Spain on the last Wednesday of August. People participating this festival throw tomatoes and get involved in a tomato fight.
Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival in Brazil is one of the most well-known Carnival celebrations. It features more than 100 block parades, many of which are supported by the students and staff of the city`s samba schools. Every neighborhood in the city has its own street band, with more than 300 bands participating in the celebration.
Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico. The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
FOODS AND DRINKS
In most of Western countries, meat is more prominent and substantial in serving-size. Steak and cutlet in particular are common dishes across the West. Western cuisines also put substantial emphasis on grape wine and on sauces as condiments, seasonings, or accompaniments.

Church of Santiago, Spain
The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela and is an integral component of the Santiago de Compostela World Heritage Site in Galicia, Spain. The cathedral is the reputed burial place of Saint James the Great, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. The cathedral has historically been a place of pilgrimage on the Way of St. James since the Early Middle Ages and marks the traditional end of the pilgrimage route. The building is a Romanesque structure, with later Gothic and Baroque additions.

DAK LAK PROVINCE
Ede costumes constitutes a high level of aesthetic and sensational values. Red and black colors dominate Ede people’s costumes. These impressive and strong colored decorations on Ede costumes represent Ede people’s life and work as well as their aesthetic taste.  
In Dak Lak, there are many ethnic minorities co-existing with their own beautiful cultural characters, especially the traditional culture of the E De.

Gongs is a symbolic culture associated with spiritual belief of Dak Lak. The UNESCO recognized Gong culture as a Masterpiece of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity on November 25, 2005.

The exhilarating culture of Dak Lak is reflected in many forms of arts: the epic of Dam San- Xinh Nha, the language of the Ede and H’Mong ethnic groups, the music instruments such as lithophone, T’rung, K’long Put, etc.


Long stilt houses is also another factor that Dak Lak people can totally be proud of.
