Lan went to Nguyen Trai Lower-secondary School in Tam Diep, Ninh Binh. She had nine subjects to learn at school. She went to school in the afternoon and often had from 4 to 5 classes each afternoon. She had a lot of homework to do at home and different kinds of tests and examinations to do at school such as oral tests, fifteen-minute tests, forty-five-minute tests and final examination at the end of each semester. She didn’t like the breaks between the classes because they were too short. She liked the teachers and her friends at school much.
