Task 1: Practice reading the dialogue:

B: Well, she learns Braille, a pattern of raised dots that are felt with fingers to help the blind read

Task 2: Work in pairs to talk about a mute and a deaf student in the same way as the dialogue above using given words/ phrases:
Task 3: In groups, discuss the problems of the deaf and the mute in their daily life and how they overcome them by answering the questions
A: What do you think about the problems of the deaf and the mute in their daily life?
B: Well, they must have difficulty hearing and speaking. However, many can use hearing aids to help them with hearing.
A: how can they overcome their problem of speaking?
B: They can use sign language and gestures to communicate instead of spoken language.
