1. The + adjective
The+adj
= adj + people
( a group of people)
+ V (plural)
Eg : old ( adj) The old (n) = old people
rich (adj) The rich (n) = rich people
Note: - du?c dựng d? miờu t? m?t nhúm ngu?i
- thu?ng theo sau l m?t d?ng t? s? nhi?u
Eg: - The old like living in the countryside.
- The rich often have a lot of money.
Vocabulary:
Injured / `indʒəd/ (adj): bị thương
Unemployed / ʌnim`plɔid/ (adj) : thất nghiệp
Sick / sik/ (adj): ốm; bị bệnh
Ambulance / `æmbjuləns/ (n): xe cấp cứu

Form: (+) S + used to + V (inf) + ……

Note: - Used to + infinitive is used to express a past habit or past state. (DiÔn t¶ thãi quen trong qu¸ khø hoÆc 1 t×nh tr¹ng trong qu¸ khø)
Khác với “ be used to Ving”: có thói quen.
EX: He is used to getting up early every morning

3. “Which” as a connector
S + V ... , which + V...
Form:
Which = “điều đó”, được dùng làm từ nối 2 mệnh đề.
“ Which” dùng thay cho ý đã được đề cập trước nó.
Which luôn đóng vai trò làm chủ ngữ ở mệnh đề 2 và giữa 2 mệnh đề phải có dấu phẩy.
