Stress in two-syllable words
2-syllable nouns, adjectives, and adverbs are usually stressed on the first syllable.
2-syllable verbs, prepositions are usually stressed on the second syllable.

This is a quick question drill. Ask a student a question. After he/she answers, ask another student what was said. For example:
Teacher: Đức, how did you get to class?
Đức: I came by bike.
Teacher: Sorry, I didn’t get that. Nghĩa, what did Đức say?
Nghĩa: He said he had come by bike.
Teacher: Thanks.
Drill: I didn’t get that, what did he/she say?
